2. CONSUME GOOD CARBS- What are good carbs? All the fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds are sources of good carbs. Good carbs are complex carbs that are a source of fiber which not just helps weight loss, constipation and eses digestion, but also slows down sudden rise in blood sugar levels.

3. DITCH BAD CARBS- Examples of bad carbs are- aerated drinks, sugary drinks, pastries, breads, cookies etc. All these have refined flour or refined carbs in them. They are stripped off of all nutrients and are the worst form of carbs. On top of that they are highly processed. Refrain from consuming them.

WHO NEEDS A LOW-CARB DIET?

People with metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance and Type 2 diabetes- These 3 categories of people need to restrict carbs in their diet. Others? Go on, carbs are great for you.

Leaving carbs is a dangerous way of weight loss. You will only mess up the natural hormonal balance of your body by quitting or restricting carbs unnecessarily.
